Swiss Military Watches Technical Information

The Movement

We only use Swiss made quartz movements from the best Swiss movement manufacturers, from the leading producers ETA, ISA and RONDA. The mechanical watches are fitted exclusively with ETA or Valjoux movements.

The case

The cases are all very robust and made from stainless steel (with very few exceptions). The gilt parts are plated with 5 microns. Most of the cases are fitted with a screw back assuring perfect waterresistency and all mechanical watches are featuring a see through case back.

The Dial

The dials feature safe Superluminova numbers or dots and so can be read easily in the dark.

The Bracelet

The steel bracelets are fitted with security clasps and easily shortened. All the bracelets are made from stainless steel.

The Leather straps

The leather bands are made from refined, high quality leather, carefully crafted and specially treated, so that they can also be worn safely in the water.

The Crown

Some of our watches have screwed crowns, for even better waterprotection. If you are wearing one of these watches make sure that the crown is screwed back properly after setting the time or the date.

Very Important

All our watches bar our company logo "hw", either on the dial and/or on the case back. If you wish to be sure that you are buying one of our genuine products, be sure to check for the "hw" logo.
