Silva are a respected name when it comes to navigation and are the leading manufacturers of compasses worldwide, after all in 1933 it was the Kjellström brothers, founders of Silva, who invented the world’s first liquid-filled compass.

With a main steering scale on the horizontal part of the compass card and a direct reading on the vertical edge of the card, these compasses are ideal for cockpits where steering is done both sitting and standing.

Designed for Sail Boating, the Silva Marine Sail boat compass 100P utilises the same method used in orienteering on land, allowing you to set your desired course on the memory ring to then keep the needle parallel to the lines. For Sail Racing, the Silva Marine 102B/H Bulkhead Compass is easy to read featuring big digits for reading at a distance and built-in red illumination for the best contrast at night. Features a big full cover, all UV-resistant materials including the capsule filled with UV-resistant liquid and two lubber lines at 45°, allowing for reading from the rail.

The Silva Marine 100BC Compass is a front-reading compass designed for power boating. Featuring two side-view lubber lines at 45° offset, the 100BC Compass allows easy reading and also allows for mounting the compass to one side of the steering position. Features a built-in compensator.
