Pembrokeshire is a surprising place, not just because of the stunning coastal scenery, superb beaches and clean seas, not even because of the genuine warmth in the welcome you'll receive but because, even in the heat of holiday summer, there aren't more visitors here! Locally there are attractions and activitiess for all tastes - Pembroke Castle or Oakwood Activity Centre for children and for naturalists the sights of puffins on Skomer or the seals around Ramsay Island should not to be missed. Pembrokeshire has the best beaches in the UK with more seaside holiday awards than any other county in the UK.
Littlehaven is an ideal village for Pembrokeshire holidays sheltered at the southern end of St Brides bay and about 7 miles from Haverford West. It has several good pubs and restaurants. The sandy beach joins with Broad Haven at mid tide to form a west facing beach nearly a mile long and the coastline forms part of a coastal path running the whole length of Pembrokeshire. At low and mid tide the surf is often good and surf boards, kayaks and windsurfers can be hired from Broad Haven. For watersports enthusiasts, boats can be stored at the top of Littlehaven beach. Dale Sailing School is approximately 10 mins drive away and runs sailing courses and hires a variety of dinghy and windsurfers.
