The flame will burn at 1300 Degrees C ! More like a blowtorch than a lighter, the flame is pressurized and uses a shielded platinum catalyzer coil element which glows white hot to keep the flame alight. It lights instantly even in strong winds and will resist being extinguished even in the worst weather, it will even burn normally upsided-down!
The GX7 flame can be locked-on so that it will burn continuously meaning that it can be used hands free to solder, weld, heat, etc. The laser jet-flame temperature is 1300°c
