Admiralty TotalTide is the world's most comprehensive prediction program providing fast accurate tidal height and tidal stream predictions. TotalTide contains tidal information for over 7,000 ports and more than 3,000 tidal stream stations worldwide.
One CD includes the calculation program (DP550) and seven geographical Area Data Sets providing global coverage as in the diagram below. A simple permit system provides access to the areas of the world you require for a year’s tidal prediction.

Improved Custom Port function - allowing users to create a port/location by entering time and height offsets from an existing Standard or Secondary port which enables predictions to be shown for that location.

New TotalTide Software Developers Kit
TotalTide has also been extended to enable Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to integrate the power of TotalTide with other applications such as electronic chart systems.
The TotalTide SDK contains all the information needed to successfully implement TotalTide functions within other systems. It allows OEMs to develop their own interfaces to tidal data and to display that data as an integral part of their own systems. Online support for technical queries is provided along with a discussion forum to share ideas and information. Developers should note the SDK is compatible with TotalTide 2005 onwards.

Instant and Safe Port Predictions
TotalTide enables you to select and simultaneously calculate tidal heights for multiple ports for up to 7 consecutive days. Results include periods of daylight and nautical twilight, moon phases and a springs and neaps indicator. Comprehensive Search Facilities
TotalTide’s sophisticated chart interface provides the mariner with full geographically based search facilities. Fast text and co-ordinate based searches are also available to ensure users go straight to the tidal information they require saving valuable time.
Global Tidal Stream Information
TotalTide calculates tidal stream predictions for over 3,000 tidal stream stations worldwide. Real time tidal stream rate and
direction predictions can be overlayed on the detailed chart display and updated every 60 seconds to maximise situational awareness.
Customise Your Trading Patterns
Standard and Secondary Ports can be grouped and saved in special user defined files based on specific routes or trading areas to enable mariners to retrieve information even more quickly. Toolbars, screen layouts and views can also be customised to suit fleet or vessel requirements.
Full Print and Export Facilities
Prediction results for periods up to seven days can be printed or exported in a range of other software packages including MS Excel and MS Word for use in other navigational and operational activities such as preparation of passage plans.
Back-Up for Maximum Safety
All TotalTide subscriptions include a second FREE user licence for back up purposes.
Recommended Platform Requirements
TotalTide is designed to run on the following versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems:
Software: Windows 98 retail build/Windows 98 SE/Windows Millennium/Windows NT version 4 SP6a/Windows 2000/Windows ME/Windows XP.
TotalTide also requires Microsoft Internet Explorer v 4.01 or later.
Hardware: To achieve optimum performance, a PC with a 200 Mhz processor or better, a minimum 64 Mb RAM and CD-ROM drive is required. TotalTide may be installed on any computer, networked or standalone, meeting the hardware recommendations for the operating system installed. It is designed to be registered to individual PCs and is not suitable to be operated across a network environment.
