Dacon Complete Man Overboard Recovery System

The Dacon Complete Man Overboard Recovery System is appropriate for all types of rescue craft, lifeboats and workboats.

The Norwegian company Dacon have been established since 1979 as a major supplier of rescue and inspection equipment and micro-camera systems. Their systems have been widely accepted within the shipping, offshore oil and gas industries as well as the onshore industry.

Rescue Frame

  • No annual servicing requirements
  • Folds for compact and easy deck or rail stowage ready for instant use
  • Can be used as a scrambling net
  • Full-length horizontal body support, reducing the risk of shock for hypothermic or seriously injured casualties or further injury
  • Easily detachable for use as a stretcher if required
  • Easy to install
  • Available for vessels with freeboards from 0.5 to 6 m in length
  • Specialist sizes available

Rescue Dummy

The Dacon Rescue Dummy, with a drop height of 110 ft, is ideal for practice drill. It weighs 20 kg empty and 90 kg when full and comes complete with a suit and weights. In addition, the Dummy can float in a realistic horizontal or vertical manner

The Dacon Complete Man Overboard Recovery System is a highly versatile manual recovery system, which provides gentle horizontal rescue of casualties.
