Big Agnes developed an I-beam construction technique that is functionally superior to the typical welded-through construction of other air mats. Die cut holes in each I-beam allow air to flow freely between chambers as you move around for constant support and comfort.

While Air Core Pads are not considered self-inflating, users who value the added comfort and reduced size and weight of these 2.5 inches thick pads don’t seem to mind. Stuffed size of these pads is about the size of a Nalgene water bottle and they weigh only 19-25 ounces depending on length. May be left in your sleeping bag pad sleeve and deflated and stuffed into a bag stuff sack to save room in your pack Available in rectangular or mummy shape in 48, 72 and 78 inch lengths.
