Gorch Fock Tribute Model - Length 10"

The Gorch Fock was built in 1932, in Hamburg. She is a three-masted steel barque, with square sails on the fore and main mast, and is gaff-rigged on the mizen. She was launched in May 1933, christened Gorch Fock in honour of the German writer Johann Kinau, who used Gorch Fock as his pseudonym. She was built to replace the German school ship Niobe which capsized in July 1932.

She can be seen today, serving as a museum ship, in her naval home of Stralsund in Germany. New moulding processes enable our model-makers to re-produce the Gorch Fock in wonderful detail.
