The Round the Island Race, one of the most popular fixtures on the Solent racing calendar sees competitors from all over the UK and some as far afield as the USA and Europe follow the 50-mile course round the Isle of Wight.

Starting on the famous Royal Yacht Squadron line in Cowes, the race then heads west to The Needles, round St. Catherine’s Point and Bembridge Ledge, then back into the Solent.
