All Swiss Military Watches by Hanowa are waterproof (water-resistant) to at least 5 atm (50 metres), very robust and fitted with a special scratch-resistant mineral glass or a scratch-proof sapphire glass.
The Swiss Military Watch cases are made from stainless steel (with very few exceptions) and the gilt parts are plated to 5 microns.
