The latest Emergency Position-Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRBs) are small, light and tough.

New-generation 406 MHz EPIRBs, for example, integrate EPIRB GPS with 406 MHz to transmit your latitude and longitude coordinates to Search & Rescue (SAR) services to pinpoint your location within minutes compared with nearly an hour with 406 MHz alone.
